We the people of California do hereby request that the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) and the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Plant be shut down immediately until our safety concerns have been adequately addressed.  Earthquake predictions exceed design specifications; radioactive waste is being stored beyond intended capacity and duration; and current evacuation plans are based upon obsolete assumptions. This situation is dangerous and unnacceptable.
