What’s the rush on this? The city needs to slow their roll. Without a thorough review of the use in recent past, a clear plan and vision for its use going forward, and a financial plan to make money on future rentals, the city hasn’t done enough to convince me there is a need for this type of expenditure. I don’t care what Talt and Ude say, I don’t expect the city government to run the facilities at a planned loss to taxpayers. That’s fiscally irresponsible. Nope. No thanks!

Almost all who grew up in San Marino know the special and memorable place this building represents. Renovate maybe but don’t tear it down.

Do NOT let the disfigurement of this traditional post-war style structure to happen. PS it's not mid-century modern, and the Library isn't Spanish style. The Library is designed in the early International style of Irving Gill.
