My husband is legally blind and it is nearly impossible for him to walk down to Beach Blvd.because there is no light to stop the constant flow of traffic and the lack of a sidewalk on the west side of San Pablo.

I agree that San Pablo is a safety hazard, however, for those of us who own homes that backup to the road, we do not want the road widened. Cars are already practically passing through our back yards, not to mention, into our back yards. The key is to enforce the speed limit, I mean seriously enforce it. The stretch between Beach and Atlantic is 35 mph. With improved sidewalks and speed enforcement, we can reduce the number of incidents on this road. Those of you who live in this area should help enforce the speed limit by abiding to it ourselves. Maybe those who use the road as a cut-through will get tired of driving behind someone who is placing the safety of others first. Making San Pablo wider is just going to increase speed, this is a residential road and needs to be treated as one.

The addition of the apartments at San Pablo and Atlantic, along with another neighborhood at Pablo Cay is really going to put added traffic on the already congested road. The sidewalks are horrible!!!

That skinny thread of concrete called a sidewalk is a hazard in itself. Crossing San Pablo to get to the sidewalk on the east side is insane. I really hope that our elected officials will seriously consider improvement for the multible communities (voters) along this route.

Pedestrian traffic to elementary school is heavy, not to mention others using sidewalks for physical exercise, recreation, dog walking and transportation pathways. Our area is growing with leaps and bounds but using the sidewalks along San Pablo can be considered 'risky' at best. Please don't let a severe injury or death be the determining factor when our sidewalks are brought up to standards. Thank you.

Apparently numerous people must DIE in Jacksonville for our city to follow thru on known public safety issues. I personally have saved emails from the numerous correspondence with city officials. I assure you this road resurface simply makes people drive faster and it ha become more dangerous. Lawsuits will follow and I am sure out city will be found negligent.

I have lived in Villages of Pablo on San Pablo for seventeen years. The amount of traffic has increased at an alarming rate. Construction of close to 1,500 apartments at Atlantic and San Pablo will increase traffic along with the constuction for additional housing at the south end of San Pablo. Cars travel at such a fast speed it is difficult to get out of our development safely. We also need a traffic light at one of our entrances. I know they recently put up one at the new development on South San pablo and it is not a cross street so we should be entitled to one also. We have around 650 homes in our villages. Please help us with turn laned, lights sidewalks as was the original plan with the Better Jacksonville Plan that we voted for and paid for but did not receive any substantial help with our road.

We need this for safety. Many parents & children use this road & sidewalk to go to Alimicani Elementary School. It is of utmost importance to improve this road & sidewalk for our families.

San Pablo Road from Beach to Atlantic Blvds. Is a dangerous road and needs the addition of turn lanes and a traffic light at Crystal Cove Drive.
