We, the undersigned, stand together as City of San José Employees and IFPTE Local 21(CAMP, AEA, AMSP) members in support of priorities set forth by our bargaining team and a significant majority of our membership. For San Jose, to realize its ambition of becoming "The most innovative city in the nation", maintain high quality public services, and support aggressive development plans, the City must continue to attract and retain the best employees. To do so, we must have a fair contract that addresses both the rising costs of living in the Bay Area and competes with comparable public agencies. Further, we must provide incentives for our newer employees to continue their careers with San Jose. Finally, we must have a fair and effective means by which to evaluate and grow the City leaders of tomorrow.

Full support for Local 21 reps. City workers must be compensated in a fair and reasonable fashion. Otherwise, relocate and work for others who appreciate our hard and diligent work effort.

I believe in organization and AEA has organized the engineers and architects to assist the City in getting a fair contract for both sides.

I moved from NYC(Queens Borough) to San Jose, with big ambitions and make a difference in the public safety. I love working for San Jose government. Cost of living and expenses are much higher than expected. Significant salary increase to compensate is a MUST and keep talents in San Jose for years to come. Thank You.

Left a great company to help my family get back to Bay Area and ever thing the San Jose City has done to me as an employee make me miss the previous employer every contract. It is not my fault the city is unfair to so many and takes or gives so little

To attract and retain talent in the tech field for the City of San Jose, the Bay Area is not affordable without much needed salaray incentives
