This is sad. Our school system needs to do better, lecturers in Nigeria are doing this and getting away with it. How can you beat a grown person all in the name of I'm your lecturer. This will send you to prison in any other country!!! I hope you get justice!

This has gone on for too long. I was a victim also but I was in English Dept. So many injustice. The students have been failed by those put to mentor and teach them. The so called adults have failed. A total sweep should be done. Not just this man but every where. From the academic staff to the none academic staff. I cant say one and leave the other. Im not there anymore but I am vexed in my spirit. And ashamed of UniAbuja staff. The VERY few good ones are being labeled with the many sad, frustrated and simply even ones. Its just sad. And I refuse to blame my government for the way lecturers treat students. The lecturers of UniAbuja have failed us. And they are still failing us. Physical abuse? Is this the military regime? No. We cant condone this anymore. Im so vexed in my spirit I can write a whole book. I will pause here.

I'm proud of the bravery and strength Kemi Obaditan has shown on this issue. Mr Samuel Olorunfemi Adams should be brought to book.

It is shocking what happens in our universities in Nigeria. It's a shame that students in Universities are sometimes treated as though they're in High School. This must stop for the good of students in Universities now and future students as well, for the reputation of the University and our Nation. Respect is reciprocal. If they lecturers don't want to know that freely, then we must force them to do so. RESPECT FOR STUDENTS.
