Samsung has recalled these washers because the top comes off causing injury and damage.

I am having same rust issues. Bleach dispenser not too bad yet, but soap dispenser area totally rusting and porcelain paint has flaked off. Called customer support and they said they have not received enough complaints about soap dispenser area. They would replace bleach dispenser by sending out a technician, but I would have to pay a $76.00 service call. I am very frustrated and WIL NOT buy a Samsung again. I have told anyone I can to avoid Samsung.

The rust also drips onto clothing leaving rust colored stains, especially noticeable on whites or other light colored clothing.

Complained about this a few years ago. Was told it was not covered under warranty. It is still rusting, and heavily now. Pieces of the housing surrounding the bleach dispenser have fallen off. Rust has moved all along housing to the soap dispenser now.

Had my washer for almost 4 years and the rust already has ate away the white paint around the bleach housing and top of that there is rush by my soap dispenser too!!
