Purchased mine in 2017 and it started showing signs of rust about a year and a half later. This is near the bleach tray.

My Samsung washer started rusting two years ago. It mostly comes from the liquid dispenser tray. I clean it every other wash with a sensitive skin baby wipe. Yesterday when I closed the drawer tray, a chunk of the washer fell into my clothes! I looked where it came from and it was the white paint directly next to where the drawer ends. Finally had enough and wanted to research this. I'm afraid of the toxins getting in my children's clothes and the harmful impact on our health.

Much of the rust dispenser is only attached to the washing machine one side. I have been extra careful about pouring bleach and not using over the recommended amount. I purchased the machine from Best Buy in Oct of 2017. It started showing signs of rust two years after I bought it. I don't know what to do. I should not have to pay more money to fix something that is absolutely a manufacturing issue. I am going to have to do something soon because at some point in the near future I will not have a bleach dispenser. Has anyone gotten any luck dealing directly with Samsung?

Same issue as everyone else. Rusting in around the bleach tray mainly but other areas of my top loader as well.
