my washer is 4 years old and I do not use bleach with every load and when I do use bleach, I use less than the package recommends. If there is no fix for this I will never buy another Samsung laundry system and I will not recommend to friends and family.

Samsung denied my claim about rusting near the bleach dispenser sayiny it is a cosmetic issue. We DO NOT use bleach in the machine at all, so this is not the cause of the problem. Adios Samsung. You no longer have my business.

Started rusting a few months after purchase. Samsung said it is not covered under warranty as it is a cosmetic problem. Now it is so bad the bleach dispenser fell out because the metal holding it is gone. I am not happy with Samsung's response.

So discouraged that my Samsung washer is rusting out around the bleach cup. This has been going on for 2-3 yrs. When I called they said sorry not our problem so I just had given up but now have more time to pursue getting this issue corrected. Has anyone gotten any resolution? If so can you share how? Thank you.

Getting a lot of rust around plastic bleach and we hardly ever use it. Samsung needs to correct.

Rusting around bleach compartment. Have had the washer four years and rarely use bleach. Samsung is giving money back for the washer, because of an extended warranty and they are unable to replace the part that is rusting. I am reading however that this is a problem with many toploading washers. Not just Samsung.
