NX1 was a great start in the pro-level camera market, many good reviews, so why drop out when you were so close to the finish line? I bet the NX1 would have been hailed camera of the year if Samsung hadn't bailed.

My nx1 is true gem for my video with outstanding quality which I could not have before. I hope samsung camera be available continuously.

It is a momentous blunder on Samsung's part, that, right at the time when they take the photography world by storm, with the introduction of the NX1, NX500 range of cameras, with superior technology to the other camera manufacturers, that they, (Samsung), should suddenly withdraw completely from this market. Especially with their, (Samsung), growing numbers of purchasers/users.

I've been a DSLR user of samsung since Day 1. I've committed so much into the samsung ecosystem because it's great! Please don't leave us hanging like this
