All grpB officers should be given grpA from first day of joining the railway as an officer. They possess same responsibility and doing same work as direct grpA,

In Railways, promotee officers are back bone of Indian Railways, working in the same posts which direct recruits do may more sincerly, dedicately with their vast service experience but they are treated lower class, paid less (lower grades) pay and promotions are refused to them. Direct officers are paid more pay, time bound guaranteed promotions without performance, who are treated upper class. Railway Board having all direct officers taking such stand beneficial to direct recruits doing injustice to promotees. Promotees are rejected natural justice, court's orders misinterpreted and promotees are demoted even after getting promotions leagally and according to procedure. DOP&T's guidelines are not binding to Railways but those guidelines which are favourable to direct recruits are implementrd by misinterpretation. This should be stopped. Either DOP&T guidelines are fully implemented as per civil employees/officers or Railway rules be implemented as done in past. In Railways, Promotees are deprived for natural justice and equality in jobs by treating them substandard as Indians were treated by Britishers in British Raj. Hope You will take necessary steps to give justice to Promotees in Indian Railways.

I feel still we have British rule and indiscrimination in India specially INDIANRAILWAYS as apartheid officer are there working for LOW PAY, NO PROMOTION Will this apartheid system among officers END??

Similar status and promotion to be given to Promotee officers as direct officers due to similar work and same responsibilities..

Follow dopt or Railway own rules for same work same status and payment

Same post, same work, same responsibility then why not same pay and status. This is discrimination with promotee/ departmental Railway's officers. Please save them.

Much needed

We are more experienced and hard working tgan direct ifficers. We are doingmore work, sharing same responsibilities and accountability but getting less promotions. Please ammend british era discriminatory rules.

Same work and same pay should not be changed., failing which creates an ambiguous position before the mass.

Post independence, this is one of the worst humiliation of one section of Railway Officers who are the most experienced Cadre of Indian Railway. The colonial era is still persistent in Railway. This discrimination must be ended.

Why less pay when same job is being done by both
