As citizens in a state that has already approved a same-sex state law, we encourage the equality for the pursuit of happiness in all states, by approving the federal law for legalizing same-sex marriage.

It should be considered a basic human right, the simplicity for marriage between all genders. By joining the states that have also legalized same-sex marriage, it brings influence and encouragement to the remaining states.

Opposing arguments believe that by letting same-sex marriages occur, it would be the leading factor for polygamous and interspecies marriages, as well as it interferes with the religious practices of the Christian faith. But we believe people of the same sex should experience marriage beliefs and customs that heterosexual marriages experience. By banning the marriage of same-sex couples, it is unconstitutional and viewed as a discrimination against a community of human beings.
