All individuals in society, whether they have a different preference of a sexual partner or not, has the right to feel accepted and equal. Being of a different sexual orientation has been an ongoing cause with the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) community for quite a while now. As active citizens of society, we have the power and ability to educate people about the truth behind our sexual orientation. If we are gay or straight, is not something we decide, but something which our genes hold within our DNA. Our DNA is all 99.9% identical to those around us. If we discriminate against something our genes decide, then we are being unjust and unfair to this community. This petition is to open the eyes of those who discriminate against those with a different sexual orientation, and allow them to realize that we are not that different after all.
