This is an historic and utilized area. It is our home. This area supports first nations and the sea life. Do not consider damaging this very special place. Thank-you

The Salish Sea is a benevolent and beneficial inland water body of unsurpassed beauty. The ecology of this wonderful place is slowly being shattered. Help us put a stop to this fracturing by declaring this area a World Heritage Site.

I love seeing the humpback and killer whales, harbour and california seals, porpoises and eagles in our inlet and I hear we have an amazing dive world also. We need to preserve our inlet for generations to come.

The Salish Sea including the Saanich Inlet must be protected--it is a sacred place. What better legacy could there be but to keep it as pristine as possible for all of us and future generations.

Please, this is the best and only status for this very sensitive Eco waterway. It has a very narrow and shallow inlet with little renewal of sea water. We who live around this sensitive area have been careful not to contaminate the system with the way we live our daily life. The whales are back since the cement plant was closed and the waterway is beginning to renew itself. This is not the time to resolute.

Without a living and thriving ocean everything and everyone loses. Take seriously the importance of a healthy eco-system and protect the Salish Sea.
