This sea is too valuable to lose - even a drop of it. I demand your help in saving it for the generations to follow.

The Salish Sea is probably the most beautiful, productive, alive and stressed coastal marine areas on the west coast of Canada. It deserves designation as a World Heritage Site and the protections that would come with it.

This is a very important area to have protected - there is a wide range of plant, fish and wildlife in it and facing a danger from up to 34 oil tankers a month in the future unless protection is put in place. HELP!

This is one step to protect this area and all whose existence depends on the sea. The land, forests, animals and fish have value in and of themselves. I know how special this place is. I am one of the lucky ones privileged to live here.

A very worthy project that the federal government should support not only for the present, but for future generations to come.

Thanks for initiating this petition. The Salish Sea so deserves this recognition, and needs to be protected.

This designation could be important in limiting tanker traffic. Save our orcas! Qualicum Beach

Don't be fooled. Money for mitigation is nice but it won't go to dead salmon and herring and seals and whales. We can't buy them or us a brand new sea.
