Give us the chance to decide our own destiny. These islands are unique places that deserve individual, specialized treatment and preservation.

Citizens in our democracy certainly deserve the right to vote on this important issue. Please allow that vote.

I want to vote on this issue. We should representation responsible to us by vote making decisions in our best interests. We do not have that now.

It is time for the citizens of Saint Simons and Sea Island to govern themselves.

And, what about possible township status for the islands?

Home rule (island government) provides citizens with a greater voice in determining and providing better control for the future of the islands. Home rule would preserve a higher quality of life.
