The historic designation is outdated, discriminatory, and promotes inequity. In all ways it is an unfair burden on the citizens who happen to live in this neighborhood

Please listen to the people in our community who bear the weight of these proposed updates. We the people did not ask for the city to impose these regulations on us. We have begged to not be encumbered by them. The people who own historic homes should not just have a voice but should BE the voice.
