You want to deport a member of this society who actually contributes to tis country! You should be ashamed and look at the people who actually need deporting!

This is absurd, with the level of immigration what it is, it seems ludicrous that a genuine hard-working asset to the country should not be granted permission to stay because of short-sighted admin. This sort of thing makes me embarrassed to call myself British

This is disgusting. This woman represents her local county cricket club. Was six months away from gaining her citizenship and intends on being a professional employee within the UK. Get your prorities right UK and let someone who deserves to stay at least get a visa. Your rules are just a mess.

It would be a disgrace if Saf was deported from our country that has been her home for so long. She would be a stranger in South Africa, this is red tape gone mad. Good luck Saf.

This is ridiculous! Considering the people they allow to stay in the country and even claim benefits! Absurd!

Were I ever to consider emigating or moving abroad to live and work in a country such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc, I would need to prove my qualifications and ways in which I could contribute to my new country and community. People need to act as a benefit to their society. This woman has already contributed, she has spent years showing her support to British sporting clubs and to her community and is bound to continue doing the same. She has more than earned the right to live here (regardless of her unfortunate circumstances which are more than deserving!)

Disgrace that Saf is not allowed to stay!!

I've know saf since my very first day at Uni and what's happening here is a joke. They'll let millions of Romanians and Bulgarians in but there trying to kick someone out who's been here for over 10 years who's actively showing why she should be here through her cricket and university studies. What a joke.

Ten years in a country, with most of her childhood being in this country. Home office seriously needs to reconsider their decision after such a tragic loss, deporting this girl would be a massive injustice. Surely there must be something under humanitarian grounds.

This is disgusting !! The trouble is half the people working in immigration speak with a foreign accent and the other half don't give a damn about anyone !! Typically British!! My grandchildren' a parents are both British by descent. Lived three years in the UK and were given British passports.. Five years later they have been told the passports were issued in error!!! Yet they can get South African passports thru their grandfather without living in South Africa??? But they have grandparents who are British and they have lived in England!! Something is seriously wrong when the immigration officer at the border speaks with a foreign accent and wears a turban and questions your rights to return to England from Europe am becoming increasingly embarrassed to own British citizenship!!

Absolutely disgraceful! How anybody can be treated so poorly by the Home Office is beyond words!!!
