the library is only open limited hours AS IT IS! closing it will not even make a dent in the 9.5 m the council have to save!

The library is always busy and the users are mostly elderly. A mobile library would pose many access difficulties. The library is one of the only communal faculties offered to the ratepayers of New Quay

Please keep the library alive - my sisters and I used it regularly as children in our summer holidays and there should be the same opportunity for both local children and visitors today. Why do Ceredigion Council insist on wasting so much money on smooth roads and useless pavements when they are not willing to invest in education and the community
I don't think tourists are getting anything out of these council actions are they? For some reason Ceredigion council doesn't feel it needs to look after New quay, they are happier to pay themselves a 3% pay rise than keep open a library in a literary gem like New Quay. Vote out the councillors that are letting the town down at the soonest opportunity.
