In Sweden were I live, people working with sanitation are not looked down upon. They uphold work that is vital for the society as a whole.

So much suffering and injustice. My condolences to the families of these men. May their deaths be honoured with improved safety standards for all these hapless sewage workers.

This is neglect tantamount to manslaughter

I continue to be shocked at the blatant disregard for human rights by a country that is a member of the Commonwealth.

Christians are human beings and need to be protected when doing sewer work. It is shameful that Christians in Pakistan face such discrimination. Yes, safe work and stop bullying.

The world will be a better place when individuals stand up for what is right and treat our fellow men and women as part of the human family. Condolences to the families, prayer for improvements in justice for the poor.

Human rights must be given to all who are human. This event is a disgrace to the nation of Pakistan.

The lack of Personal protection Equipment violates the right to a safe working environment, and shows two things: (1) how backward Pakistan is, and (2) that Pakistan has no respect for human rights.

I have worked in the sewage industry in Britain and understand the conditions these men were forced to work in.

Uncivilised not to provide for men doing dangerous work to serve others.

The level of injustice is appalling and should not occur anywhere
