The DNR truly has no interest in conserving or preserving. Men want to hunt anything that moves and they do get what they want!! I feel trapping and baiting are the most inhumane and horrible ways to"hunt". I believe in freedom for all living beings.

It's incomprehensible that any modern country still allows leg hold traps, the cruelest of devices.
But the US has a long way to go before it can count as a humane and sophisticated country.

Looks like it's time to hike wearing only bright orange and reflective outerwear.

Let's find the avenue to complain about Cathy Stepp if we think she is incompetent for her job. With a new hiring process on their table, there is hope for change. we need to find balance in our legal structure, as pertains to animal welfare, not bias for the sake of hunters and hunting license sles. think of the amount of animal behavior data that can tell us what we should be doing for them, instead. And, do insects count as animals? If not, why not? They are an important part of the ecostructure.

I want to continue hiking in State Parks without the threat of violence from hunters. Is it asking too much to let nature, including all her wildlife live at peace in our beautiful State Parks? Citizens, including children, attend to enjoy and experience these places of refuge from modern life, we just can not allow dangerous hunting, trapping, fishing in these special Parks.

Act 168 is crazy . It will kill off all the wolves in a certain areas. Why wolves / Do they harm you ? No , they just want to be left alone to live their lives out in peace. Yes bullets can travel. Hit another hunter ? (wouln't that be a shame) Yes, give a wolf anyday over a human.

It is too dangerous to have hunting and trapping going on in our state parks. If it has to be muti-use area's should be designated for these activities as well as seasons when they go on The public has a right to these area's without having to worry about being shot at or they or their animals being caught in traps

Why hunt wild game??
Why It's Healthy: Wild animals aren't just free of the taint of chemical fertilizers; they're also free of hormones, antibiotics, and even the antibiotic-resistant bacteria so common in factory-farmed animals, according to a study published last year in the journal Applied and Environmental Microbiology. Meat from deer, elk, wild boar, and other feral creatures also has fewer calories, less saturated and total fat, and even lower levels of cholesterol.
hopefully everyone of you are true vegans and own nothing made from animals, otherwise you are nothing but a bunch f hypocrits...
facst are that the sportsman in this state are a big reason that the wildlife that you are trying to "protect" are at the population levels they are at today.

Anyone capable of inflicting such pain and torture on an innocent animal is a barbaric savage. We, as a nation need to become more humane and compassionate. What kind of heartless people are we. The DNR should be protecting our wildlife and manking the parks safer, not full of traps and bullets.Do not implement Act 168.

There is no reason for this type of cruelty. Trapping should be banned.

Wildlife should not be forced to have to
suffer pain, and die! I oppose hunting, and trapping, by any method. It is cruel. Dogs should not be in hunts. Stop the Wolf Kill!

Animal killers do not belong in our state parks. They are there for everyone to enjoy, without the fear of someone getting seriously injured by a sick animal trap.

Trophy hunting and trapping have no place anywhere in the 21st Century!!
Give it up and GET A LIFE!!!
It's not the 1870's anymore!!
Get yourselves a friggin' clue,
ya' brainless, bureaucratic dorks!!
Until you change your ways and stop killing our wildlife and endangering the public, I won't even bother buying any products that come from Wisconsin, nor even bother to do business or vacation in that Gestapo state!!
