The purpose of this petition is to get an idea of the number of students in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry who are interested in the University implementing a Safety Net Policy for the upcoming assessment period (Semester 2) due to the ongoing situation with SARS-CoV2. The number of students interested in this policy will be passed on to the directors of study and to the department members of staff. A number of other institutions in the UK have implemented similar policies to ensure students are not disadvantaged by the ongoing situation.
