Safety at K2 is a serious problem. To discourage the problems like the fire started November 8th in the HS, we insist K2 take the following steps: Install cameras in areas where observation is limited, hire additional personnel to support office staff with safety, and increase discipline for dangerous problems. We the parents of K2 have filed this petition showing signature for a majority of the High School, expect the administration of this school to start and carry out these demands for the safety and security of our children entrusted to you at K2.

I don’t want cops on campus, but I do think our school can do a lot more for safety & security. There was administrator lip service at beginning of year that safety would be a higher priority, and I support more action being taken ASAP. I stand ready to help as needed.
Need hall monitors campus police or security office
The issues at the school must be addressed, ASAP!
This was a discussion at the “Town Hall “ and has been an ongoing issue for the safety of our kids .!!!!

Security cameras are a reasonable precaution to take. I'm with Denise that cops would be too much.
