With the speeds people drive on this stretch of Massapoag (regardless of posted limits), crossing the road always feels like a risky venture. I have often been amazed not only at how fast people go down this road, but at how unwilling many seem to slow down or yield even when they see you trying to cross. And trying to safely and quickly cross with young children is even more frightening. Are we truly waiting for such an accident to occur before it is decided that changes need to be made?

I have, on numerous occasions, crossed this street to access the lake at my friend's house and trying to get my 23 month old across is very dangerous! Something needs to be done.

As the President of The MOMS Club in Sharon, I believe it is important that all of our residents especially children are safe on that road!

Crossing the road to our beach is always a challenge as the road curves blocking our view of traffic so slowing traffic down would be a big step in making it safer. Although a bike lane would be fabulousI am not sure the road could support it without taking more land. I would love to see Massapoag be one way for at least the summer months to create the bike lane on a temporary basis; it could be done as a time restriction such as between certsin times of the day, I.e. from 7 AM to 7 PM, which is what Walpole does on Summer St. From Coney St.

It is dangerous to walk, bike and cross the road to my beach. People don't look, drive way too fast, and without a proper sidewalk, it's not safe for any pedestrian.

I worry about crossing Massapoag; there is danger from speeding cars and bike riders who don't look up. My grandchildren will be crossing this road and it needs some kind of seasonal speed bump, sidewalks at each entering street and perhaps we need to do what they did on Aspen Rd which is put stop signs on Massapoag at each entering road (Franklin, Arboro, etc )and any other up and down the road in this section.

It is wonderful that we live in a beautiful town where people walk, run, ride bikes, stroll with carriages, roller blade, etc. Safety is paramount to our fellow citizens and maintaining this quality of life.

Crosswalk lines would be very helpful, especially at each address with across the street, lakeside, land. Lots more pedestrian signs. Very difficult to back out of driveway ( no choice but to backup) and across to the other lane because of speeding cyclists. No one wants to hit anyone or scare them but they peddle quickly in the shadows and assume they can be seen.

We are on vacation and will not be able to be at the meeting. The speed is our number one concern. Speed bumps would be nice so would a bike lane!

I have young drivers in my home and always feel concerned about this stretch. In addition, we regularly cycle along this stretch. I am not able to come to the meeting, but will offer support in any way I can.
