Safety for Brunswick Park Primary and Nursery School

Something has to be done! This endangering lives.

I am signing in support of restrictions to avoid cars blocking emergency access to brunswick school

Think of the safety of these children.

Current conditions present genuine safety issues for the children and caregivers at Brunswick Park school

A shout out to all of Year 6 for their enthusiastic and impassioned protest yesterday at the roundabout, Yr 6 you are all awesome!!! Thank you to Shreya for allowing me to use her excellent placard as the illustration for this petition.

Also, parking wardens MUST give tickets to those parents who constantly park right o the corner of Woodfisld Drive, blocking the vision of cars trying to get in or out of the road AND blocking safe pedestrian access across the road.

As a near neighbour this is essential

This needs to be done soon before an accident happens. The parking is terrible and if the emergency services were called they wouldn't be able to get past.

I have a daughter with a severe nut allergy. Block in off emergency access routes is not only irresponsible but also endangering lives.

Those who are so lazy and selfish as to park on the roundabout and block access by the emergency services would probably regret having parked there if their actions affected them personally in an emergency. That would be too little, too late!

I back this 100%- there is absolutely no reason to park in this area and doing so puts our children’s lives at risk. I have also witnessed teachers being delayed / prevented from parking in their legitimate spaces at the top of the lane due to this thoughtless behaviour. Sadly I think yellow zig zags and fines are the only way to stop this as these arguments seem to fall on deaf ears.

I am in support of yellow lines in the interest of keeping everyone safe. I’ve noticed people parking there today even when there were at least 4 free spaces in the adjacent car park.

I’m a Brunswick parent and a London Ambulance Service Paramedic. I know for a fact an Ambulance would have great difficulty getting passed the cars parked on the roundabout.

There is a free alternative parking.. No excuse to obstruct roundabout.. Employ a traffic warden and fine them and bring Barnet extra revenue
