Buses should not remain on idle while students are boarding in order for electric stop signs to work. The students are lined up alongside the bus and breathing in the exhaust.
Schools should have real people like cross guards to ensure students' safety while respecting the environment and cross guards should be safe while doing so..

My son complains about the smell every single day when he gets off the bus. Its honestly gross and cant be good for their lungs.

Just turn the engines off. Not that hard. Stop chocking our kids just so the lights can blink.
