It is vital that this matter is addressed - crazy that children's lives are being put at risk on a daily basis.

The increased delay at the traffic light was unnecessary as it fulfilled the objective of allowing a quick and safe crossing for pedestrian whilst leaving the motor traffic unaffected by the very short break. On the contrary, the increased delay is causing long queues of pedestrians, making many impatient to cross with someone trying on a red light. This is a tragedy waiting to happen. No benefit will come from the "sorry" that will be received after the first serious accident.

The recent increased delay between light changes has led to an unsafe accumulation of parents and children at the Ashen Road crossing. Please revert to a shorter delay during school pick-up/drop-off times.

This is a very dangerous road maybe you could provide a lolly pop man or lady to help this problem.

Why has the timing been changed for the Ashen Grove lights? The traffic on Durnsford is simply in transit between traffic congestion at Wandsworth 1 way and at the corner to Wimbledon Greyhound stadium. There can have been little benefit to traffic flow in increasing flow in our area.

This is a critical crossing with a large volume of your children and parents with prams. It is important that the light change is quick to manage the volumes of school traffic at peak times

Today a car almost run over a child while he was scooting. This petition should ber taken in consideration.

Please act to make this crossing safer. It is totally inadequate for the number of people using every day.

Agreed indeed

The new crossing timing is extremely dangerous. Not only does the pavement get clogged, many people are also forced to cross outside the markings on order to cross in time.

Was anyone consulted before the wait times at the Ashen Grove crossing were extended?
