I support creating a more pedestrian and bike friendly King Harbor, first and foremost by removing the barrier wall at the Hermosa Strand southern terminus and transforming the adjoining parking lot into a beautiful welcome park as envisioned below. This concept plan includes replacing all lost parking.

For too long pedestrians and cyclists have endured an unsafe and unattractive transition between the Hermosa Beach Strand and Harbor Drive and the time has come to improve this situation as recommended in the Vitality City Livability Plan approved by the City Councils of Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. Below shows how the Hermosa Strand currently ends and requires a sharp turn to gain access to King Harbor.

Please pledge your support by signing this petition now. Thank you!
