Pleasant Valley Road, Wolf Mountain Boulevard (including the switchback up the hill), and Clubhouse Lane are all in terrible condition. With the increasing number of residents who have chosen to move into or build homes in this beautiful area, these roads are of tremendous concern. Not only are the pothole-filled streets damaging to vehicles and to our property values, but they are becoming increasingly unsafe as well. Trucks, school buses, and other construction vehicles use these roads daily, including traveling up and down the dangerous switchback. It is only a matter of time before a tragedy occurs on these substandard roads, and we would like our officials to act before it is too late.

While the county has allocated a small amount of funds for fixing a few potholes, a new, fully-paved road (with safety guardrails) is desperately needed and our group is hoping that residents will band together and voice their concerns to county and state officials to bring "Safer Wolf Mountain Roads NOW!" to our community. County and state budgets are understandably tight, but our sincere hope is that if residents and other concerned citizens band together, a groundswell of support will lead to desperately-needed action on these dangerous roads!

Please sign this petition to let Le Flore County and Oklahoma state officials know that a safer, smoother Pleasant Valley Road, Wolf Mountain Boulevard (including the switchback), and Clubhouse Lane are critical for everyone's safety. Also, ask your neighbors and friends to sign the petition as well by calling or e-mailing them, or by sharing this petition on Facebook and Twitter.

Please leave your name, e-mail address, and in the "Comments" field, list whether you live in Wolf Mountain, Pleasant Valley, or outside the community. That will help let our government officials know that local residents are very concerned about the safety of our Pleasant Valley and Wolf Mountain area roads.

Thank you for your support!
