Support Safer Streets in East Kensington (Frankford Ave.)

I cross this intersection every day. It is difficult to cross and makes life less safe. A crosswalk would be greatly appreciated!

I have the Green Building with Purple Doors at this intersection. We've heard so many tire screeches and accidents over the past few years. It would be great to have cross walks or a light and also not allow cars to turn or go straight across Frankford towards Trenton.

I agree that both subject intersections require improvement including stop signs and pedestrian crosswalks. It is time to improve these intersections!

A dangerous intersection that needs attention.

I used to live at Hagert and York. I've seen so many accidents at Frankford intersection.

As a resident of Sergeant St and a mother to two children who (normally) walk to Hackett School, I wholeheartedly support this petition!

I live on the 2100 block of E Hagert Street and regularly have to cross Frankford & Hagert. Both on foot and in a vehicle, crossing is dangerous and difficult.

Make Kensington safe again!!

They also need to close the extension of Amber street it creates a very dangerous situation with pulling out into traffic, and there would be more parking spaces if they closed it.

I live at the intersection of hagert a d frankford and watch daily as cars and bystanders come very close to being in accidents.

Stop sign, crosswalks, and markings at corners to permit cars from parking will also help with driver visibility. Maybe a children crossing sign as well. Speed humps to slow traffic on either side.

I cross at Hagert and Frankford multiple times per day on dog walks and have nearly been hit several times but Its safer than crossing at the multiple intersection at York, Trenton, Frankford slated for a roundabout I hear. Please put in at light at Hagert and Frankford to keep walkers safe.

This is most of the most dangerous intersection. It’s hard to see if cars are coming so one would need to inch out blocking the pedestrian walkway.
