I can not believe the local residents would rather have cars parked on both side of a busy road rather then a safe space. For the short space of time they are parked I cannot understand what impact this has on the residents apposed to the new parking area. You can not see into the gardens, the area before was overgrown and used as a dumping ground. The work that has gone in now sees the area looking well kept and clean. The rats/mice from the area can no longer be an issue which must be a benefit to the residents. The football ground has been going for many years, much longer then the houses have been around.

As a parent of a child who plays on the pitch I believe safety is paramount. I believe it I a little sinister that a resident who has no affiliation to the club should be so keen to watch our children exercise.

The car park is a much needed addition, rather than having children crossing the busy nether lane.

Think they should have asked before building it as I can understand the views of the houses adjacent but now it's built its got to be better to come to an agreement with the neighbours over start times and noise levels than making the club return to the original status and on those grounds I've signed the petition.

Appalling behaviour from people. These kids are off the streets doing what they love. Go and bully other people!

Having visited this football club many times over a 10 year period more car parking is essential and therefore I applaud the club in putting the safety of young people and also the general public using the road first. Shame on anyone that believes this is a bad thing.

I applaud Red Rose for trying to make the experience at the facilities better and SAFER for all who attend and can not believe that our local MPs and residents would appose the creation of a SAFER environment, Shame on you!!!!

Typical councils and MPs. How do they pass high rise buildings if neighbouring views are a stopper for granting permits. One rule for one (normally those with “contributions”). Safety for children - safety for all. Does the complaintant have in their deeds “protecting views” ????

They transformed an overgrown wasteland into a car park for the safety of children playing football. As a community club they have invested more in the local community and its children over a number of years, then any of those objecting will ever do.

The car park is there to keep families safe that use the football ground. It also prevents a build up of parked cars on a busy road causing potential accidents to the public.
