There has been no loss of habitat for wild animals in any meaningful sense, and the tiny amount of green belt lost to this project is no loss against the potential safety concerns for the children. Demanding the car park be removed will not regenerate any lost habitat witho further public investment. Leave these good people alone to enjoy their passion.

Seriously! ! What sort if stupid people would opose the creation of safer parking for children and not even paid for by council or government. As a regular driver on Nether Lane I am relieved to see the massive reduction of cars curbed on both sides of the road. It was a hazard and dangerous situation for children, parents and road users. Ecclesfield Red Rose I solute you.

My great grandson plays for RedRose U11’s, he would be so upset if this facility folded, he lives playing football and lives being with all his team mates.

Most definetly need to keep the cars of the road which will ensure the players will be safer away from the road

Ridiculous the parking I work next door and they even park in the residents car park so family cannot park when they come to see them

A lovely place to give children and activity to do so they are not just left hanging around the streets

For the short time these spaces are being used, surely Children’s Safety should be Paramount, it’s not like they are playing football all through the night, causing a disturbance, it’s daytime hours, the cars will come and go for goodness sake!
