Safer Lordship Lane

I have nearly been run over at this junction. I hate crossing it with my kids.

This is a seriously dangerous intersection. I am always happy to cross unharmed.

Please sort this out. Why not put another set of crossing lights and all pedestrians cross at same time and all traffic stops. Easy!

This is a very dangerous junction and something should be done about it as a matter of urgency.

I was nearly run over when I was pregnant. And then I was nearly run over by a van when I had my new born in the buggy. To be safe, I now avoid crossing this junction and prefer to walk longer via safer roads!!

That this particular junction has remained untouched, despite several alleged phases of improvement at that end of the Lane, is surprising, annoying and potentially murderous. At the very least, we need an explanation as to why Southwark has refused to do anything substantial to make it safer for pedestrians, despite frequent demands. There is something very wrong here.

This is a very dangerous crossing. Does someone have to die there before something is done to make it safer?

I am so glad that someone is trying to make our roads safer. My sister was run down by a hit and run driver at this junction, just before Christmas las year. She is recovering slowly but we could all be having a very different Christmas this. Please make our roads safer. Thank you.
