Call boxes with a camera would be a great safety measure so residents can verify who is attempting to enter the building. This will cut down on residents buzzing in random people who call their number via the callbox. High definition cameras at all entry points to the building is a no brainer; being able to clearly see all access points only makes sense from a security standpoint. If you want to commit a crime, we will have your picture and your vehicle clearly ID'd for the police. Cameras in the parking garage covering all angles only makes sense as well. Now we can show not only who you are, but what damage you caused. And of course extra lighting and high definition cameras for guest parking will make residents feel safer about having guests come over and stay over. Having amazing security is an advantage to everyone, unless you don't live here. As we increase security, crime goes elsewhere, too bad, that will make other communities have to spend the money to up their security as well, that's just the way it works. Why be behind the curve when we can be ahead of the curve? If Windsor has the best security, the word will spread and occupancy will rise and turnover will decrease. The money spent now will be well worth it in the long run.

I just got an email saying that I have to remove my doormat from my door entry. Apparently Andi Alaniz, property manager, thinks is a big deal. But hey.. We have been receiving emails about cars getting broken in every other week and management doesn't do s**t about it. Priorities.

Safety becoming an issue. Garage scary early am e.g. 6am ish. security guards 24/7 would be a welcomed sign.

We need to figure out a way to keep people from coming into the garage by "following" another car. We also need to keep the door at the ground floor closed at all times!

We need to feel secure and we also need to educate the pet owners to pick up and CLEAN after their pets (in the corredors, stairs, elevators,...)

We need more security, and we need to keep our gates closed for the outsiders.

If we have cameras in the dog park to ensure that residents pick up after their dogs, surely we can install more cameras throughout the inside of the parking garage. It seems

I do feel more security is needed given recent events in the last few months. If any of this can be done, it will be a plus. It will take time, but this gets the lines of communication started with management and residents. We need to all look out for each other, and pay attention to our surroundings.

I certainly appreciate this petition and the efforts being made for a safer and more secure resident living. I would think that management would totally be on board with these suggestions, without a petition. This is serious and speaks for itself. However, since that hasn't occurred, I'm totally on board with this petition.

I have had 5 bicycles stolen in 10 months from the "secure" bike cage. Added security would be fantastic! Needless to say, I no longer store my bikes in there.

Ideally, there would be a guard to patrol the parking areas and one to walk the building. Two nights ago we had to call 911 because a suspicious vehicle entered the garage through the exit (which seemed to be broken as it was not closing). We had tried the emergency prompt when calling the office but were just disconnected. There seems to be a focus on protecting residents from other residents (i.e. closing the common areas (pool, cave) at 10pm even in the summer on weekends) but no so much on protecting us from outside threats. The focus on cleanliness and maintenance is very appreciated but what good is a clean and well-maintained property if the residents don't feel safe?

I've definitely seen cars tailgate into the secure area of the garage - very concerning in light of recent events.

I often observe people lurking around waiting to gain entry into the building once residents who actually live here enter and exit the building. I believe the presence of a security guard would eliminate such occurrences. I am in full agreement with the suggestions outlined in this petition and hope to see them implemented.

I believe that this is a great idea for all that live in this community .My girlfriend lives there alone and come in late from time to time I would be happy to see security in this community .
