Make Wolseley Road Safer For Harvills Hawthorn Primary School's Students

Totally agree with all of above, just to add its the same old idiots who flout the law by parking on the yellow zig zags, get police there, get em done!!

It's not safe because there's to many cars

To much speeding going on.

Speed bumbs should be put by the school to stop the racing up an down street as motorbikes aswell as cars go up an down the street at all hours, plus there is no suitable parking area so cars park on paving preventing us with the children an buggies getting safely past, cameras could also be put around the school as ones there now dont work

Something does need to be done with people double parking and blocking drive ways etc causes a risk to the children and infuriates other drivers/residents !!

Something needs sorting for the kids safety it's so dangerous!!

Agree with all other parents on this issue, needs sorting for all concerned. Walkers and drivers together need to sign to get something achieved.

I do support the idea to provide safer parking area to protect the children.

People on this road do not care about pedestrians. The majority of drivers are fine but it's the same inconsiderate idiots who are blocking pavements or STILL parking on the zig zags. I know the owner of the blue car in the picture and he clearly doesn't give a monkey as long as he's alright. I personally don't agree with a carpark as it may bring unwanted attention for the residents in the evening/night time. It needs to be sorted asap though before something tragic happens.

Parking half on the pavement is a major problem.... drivers need to take more care when mounting the curb as there are young children walking to school .... mine being on of them .. I also have a pram which cars have nearly missed

1 way system would be great or lollipop lady/zebra crossing I think these would be the most cost effective

I agree with all. I live in woseley road n they park in front of my drive with no consideration of us getting off to do to work Plus my eldest walks home on her own traffic is bad

Agree ...I live in wolseley road and my daughter was hit by a car reversing when we were on the path luckily enough it only caught her leg.People also block my driveway even tho clearly I have a dropped drive and a car on their...on many occasions I have had to wait to be able to to get off my drive because of parking. Also on a night time cars race up and down the road at stupid speeds an I think speed bumps would help along with a designated parking spaces.It will only be a matter of time before a child is injured very badly.

Wise words really needs something doing plus the speeding bikes and cars up and down Anson road well surrounding area

My children went to this school years ago and the problems were there then .... It's been going on for years !!! With so much wasteland around the council need to do something before a life or lives are lost !

You cant cross the road safely its a disgrace
