We need to lobby North Somerset Council to action some sort of crossing or road enhancement to make the junction of Chapel Hill, Highdale Road and Lower Linden Road safe. North Somerset Council are currently unlikely to support a school patrol (lollipop lady) at this junction due to their analysis of number of vehicles vs. pedestrians. Their analysis cannot be the only factor to be taken into consideration as their survey was conducted over only two mornings and does not acknowledge in any way the horrendous lack of visibility at this junction. One of the main concerns is for the primary school children of St Nicholas Chantry who have to cross this junction but it is equally tricky for the general motorist.
