As a frequent biker on most of Columbia Road NW, I’d feel much safer and more prepared to deal with the chaos of buses, pedestrians, and drivers on that road.

I got hit by a car on Columbia road. I was lucky to survive. We cannot rely on luck! We know how to stop traffic fatalities and injuries!

I've lived on Columbia Road for many years. It has a bike lane past 16th street, but we need the bike lane to extend through Columbia Heights - especially around 11th St and 14th St, where there is high traffic and it's currently very dangerous as a cyclist.

please build more protected bike lanes! we need to make protecting the most vulnerable movers a priority- walkers, runners, bikers!! as a cyclist i spend every commute with my head on a swivel- even in a bike lane there are enough cars and scooters not paying attention. safety should be the number one priority NOT protecting drivers / car lanes!

Also please put one on Independance Ave or through the mall so the tourists / large coach buses / food trucks don’t hit us!

I usually take the Ss to work because it’s quicker and then walk, but a bus lane could make my commute quicker and easier.
