I am afraid when I cycle across this bridge. I am sure that more MGCI students would cycle to school if the bridge were not so dangerous.

Our neighbourhood is filled with children. It would be so wonderful for them to have the opportunity to safely ride their bicycles in their own neighbourhood. I've seen kids make unsafe choices specifically *because* they have no other options.

I think we also need to remind people bikes with a wheel circumference of more than 20inches are not allowed to cycle on sidewalks. Also I am seeing to many children not wearing helmets in the neighborhood .By Law children under 16 are required to wear a helmet. I think we need to bring back lessons on how to ride a bike properly. How to make hand signals when your riding your bike.

The traffic on Overlea is getting way to crazy lately. My kids are terrified to ride their bikes to school and I dont blame them one bit. Something needs to change before someone gets hurt.
