This is a great idea. With increasing trouble being attributed to young people in the town, something to occupy them (and all other children) is welcome

With the government initiative at the moment being obesity in young children this is much needed for physical and mental health

Although not an Athertonian I know the tennis courts, from many years working on the staff, at the then Hesketh Fletcher H S.
I think this is an excellent idea and hope it comes to fruition. I'd happily support any necessary fund-raising if you are given the go-ahead.

Great idea. Let the children be children again. Giving them a safe place to go to have fun, be active and building relationships with other children

Fabulous idea! The kids need somewhere to play and there are no outdoor basketball courts around
