As long as we can find a reasonably safe way to do this, we would strongly support it. I hope we can find a way that everyone feels safe with. Thank you for your consideration.

We need more solutions and a definite path to re-opening schools. Safely for both teachers, staff and our kids. I understand people being scared. However, we need to have our kids educated.

I am a first responder and provider. I firmly believe that in person instruction is doable from a safety standpoint and essential For the well-being of our children.

Please use scientific data and evidence to establish protocols for re-opening. Please consider the vast inequities that are being created by virtual learning. Please consider the detrimental effects of virtual learning on children's social-emotional development.

I wholeheartedly agree! Our children are being impacted on so many levels & need in-person learning. Let’s find a way to do this safely for teachers & staff, students, and their families.

I am happy with the improvements made to distance learning and even feel it has a place permanently in some of our curriculum/grades; however for the younger children this is just not how they learn and we need to do better.

Please open up our schools. We are 100% in support of our daughter attending school inside the classroom for a full day once the Fall school year commences.

Agree 100%. Thank you for putting this together. Also think holding classes outside as much as possible is a great idea (even without Covid!)

I support in person teaching , I think it can be done safely. There are models for outdoor education classroom and curricula we can use as a guide. Greenschoolyards is a good source.

Please note, per a New Release on 7/22/2020 by the County of Marin, Health & Human Services: "A local health officer may grant a waiver for schools to open for in-person instruction if requested by school leaders in consultation with labor, parent, and community organizations." https://www.marincounty.org/main/county-press-releases/press-releases/2020/hhs-covid-classroomlearning-072220

I concur with the gross inadequacy of online learning, even though I understand it requires just as much effort from teachers. Our daughter is currently attending a day camp where science-based mitigation practices are in effect, and I believe such a model would be most socially responsible for our public schools.

I whole heartedly believe our children need to return to full time in class instruction. I believe this can be achieved while maintaining safety for our students & teachers.

Our family is 100% in support of our school re opening full time in class learning this Fall . We have already witnessed the negative side effects on our daughter and are comfortable having her return to school this fall.
