I know some teachers really want to go back and teach their students. It's really disappointing and sad to see that the teacher's union doesn't have the students' best interest in mind.

It's time to start returning to normalcy of some kind. Getting our children back in their classrooms with their classmates and normal socialization is essential. Let's do it!

Nobody is taking care of the consequences on our children of being out of schools fro more than a year! The greatest scandals is that the teachers are the least interested...it is a shame!

It’s the height of hypocrisy that school reopenings don’t jive with other commercial games I’m irked that have been allowed to reopen. And it’s the fight between school districts, parents, teachers & their unions. No wonder there’s a recall effort to remove our governor. He’s NOT taken a leadership & facilitator’s role on this critical issue.

Our government and leaders can learn from other countries and how their students have been able to stay in school. One solution, MOVE TEACHERS, not students. No one wants to listen, no one wants to try. Everyone feels they are right and it is the Kids that are suffering

It is completely ridiculous that we can’t reopen our schools here. The UK is opening all of their schools, even the high schools on March 8. All over Europe, elementary schoolers have been back to in person for months! They have a comprehensive reopening plan. Where is ours and why has it been left up to each individual school district and or the teachers unions?? If the teachers want to be considered essential workers, they need to start acting like it and show up to work. Work I don’t get paid. I work in the medical community if I don’t show up to work I don’t get paid. I’ve been working without a vaccine for a year and we’ve been doing just fine.

Schools need to open for the sake of both children and working parents. Enough is enough! Put plastic partitions between desks if need be. Let the kids SOCIALIZE and run wild at recess, even with a. Mask on, if necessary.

This can be done safely, and needs to be done. Our kids need to be at school, for the their education and mental health.
