If all teachers are vaccinated and masks are worn at all times by children and teachers this is a reasonable approach to get the children back to school. The vaccine does not necessarily keep people from transmitting Covid and that would be a concern I have for teachers bringing home the virus to their families. I suggest all in a teacher's family be vaccinated too.

Our children are suffering emotional and socially by not being in school. It’s more than just academics. The longer this goes, the harder the transition back will be. Plus, catching up on lost learning could affect us for years. Teachers are essential and need to be treated as such.

No one talks about the learning disabled? How do YOU explain this to them ! Having taught High School and College there is no excuse for self centered concern when there is so much to be done. My life is not my own. I share it with those who need me.

Open the schools. Fire the teachers who won't return. The teacher's unions must be dispensed with. Follow the lead of the private schools.
