Why isn't the mayor suing the union like the mayor of SF did? The teacher union needs to be forced to send their teachers back to school.

Kids and teachers can and should return safely now. Very disappointed with nothing being done. my youngest has been back for 3 months and it’s going well. he’s in 8th grade at SFC.
even big high schools like Valley have a plan. It just takes work to implement it. It’ has nothing to do with private vs Publc. It’s about planning and action!
my oldest should be back in his high school (Leland) love the school and teachers havre been amazing but they are held stagnant due to inaction. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Schools around the country are open regardless of income. Elementary schools must reopen. There is zero science behind any decision to NOT reopen. The CDC has been very clear that vaccinations are not necessary to reopen, so please tell me the rationale of keeping things closed.

I absolutely agree, lower income children get the short end of the stick. They need the same opportunities that "High-Income" families can afford their kids during this Pandemic

I agree for the safety of our teachers to protect our students and their family as well. So Im signing the petition for the Covid 19 Vaccine for our teachers that they must be given to our teachers soon. So that they can reopen the schools soon and can serve our community better for our students.
