The intersection of Third Baxter and Market Street is lacking in safety primarily because there is no crossing guard present in the morning and after noon hours to patrol that intersection when children are walking to and from school. Several parents have witnessed speeding, drivers obstucting crosswalks while waiting and aggressive behavior by others to name a few. The same dangers are also present on Sutton Road where many drivers are using excessive speed within the school zone area. We need your help in requesting to the city officials and\\or school officals that they implement a solution by placing crossing guards and\\or a police presence in these areas. With 100 more students walking to and from school alone this year it is imperative for the safety and well being of each and every one of them that our request be heard
