Safe Winter Roads for St. Paul

Things that could help: 1. Mix sand with salt, especially at intersections and lights. 2. Calendar parking so one side of street is always clear to plow. 3. Have equipment and staff to remove snow from area in higher traffic areas.

My car couldn't even get down side streets the last two days!!

The only problem with that is his people park on the street or side streets and they can't plow properly Plus when they do declare a snow emergency nobody moves their dang cars so they can plow and they're not for some reason ticketing and Towing

Side streets need to be plowed in a more timely manner. Everyone is getting stuck!!

The delays in plowing creates permanent ice that locks seniors and people with disabilities out of community participation for the winter. Isolation is a recognized factor in dementia and other health issues that cost real $ and quality of life.

St. Paul is very slow to plow up in Dayton’s bluff. They leave huge windrows on corners instead of rounding corners. They leave us until 3-4 days after snow so there are ruts and when there is a nice day they could come back and remove ruts. It’s really not safe.

I am confident the plow drivers work hard and want safe cleared roadways in Saint Paul. It is the city plowing process that needs to be fixed.

St. Paul is the worse for snow clean up and removal.

Roads need to be plowed for local traffic, cars are getting stuck all over

They also need to be tagging and towing prior to plowing and plowing so that intersections are clear of snow. Time to being St. Paul into the 21st century.

Instead of spending time figuring out how to eliminate late library book fees, let's figure out how we can better serve our highly taxed property owners!

We have had to delay the start of school due to the poor road conditions around our campuses here in St. Paul.

Horrible, roads, and the question is why when you travel across the bridge to Minneapolis is it so different?

The guy that snow plows my alley does this faster than city of St. Paul. I pay taxes for street maintenance. I can drive to any other suburb after a snowstorm and their streets are plowed. Get your act together St. Paul! And don’t come back next year saying you need more $ to cover snow emergencies.
