Plowing frequency needs to increase to keep residential streets clear. High property taxes should cover.

I've lived in upstate NY (Syracuse, Rochester), where it snows a LOT, EVERY day, and you never see city roads like we do here. It's MN, it snows, and this can be planned for.

Worst streets in the Metro area every winter.

It is ridiculous that we have here snowfalls over 3" before our streets are plowed. Our street was such a mess that the recycling trucks could not get through.

I 100% agree with this petition. I'm literally stuck at home for over 24 hours when deep snow hits, affecting me getting to work and my child to school. I was disappointed just yesterday 2/13/19, when I left the house at 9:30am to see none of the north south streets near my home were plowed so clearly the east west were not started. This really is an important issue that I hope our government will address. Thank you

It boggles my mind how clear the roads are in every other city around St. Paul and the citizens pay a fraction of the taxes we do.

While the rest of the Twin Cities communities are able to maintain modern and safe plow programs, why has St. Paul continued to have decade after decade of grossly inadequate and unsafe winter plowing? Our property taxes are through the roof, increasing every year, but what are we paying for? Where is this money going? Who’s really running this place?

After 36 years in Highland and Mac Groveland, I feel snow removal has been sub-par.

Kathy lantry has zero business running public works. She should step down immediately and let a qualified person run the maintenance.

I agree with many of the comments including Dale Johnson's comments submitted on 2/14. If it wasn't for our alley plowing, we could be stuck. It's a BIG safety concern!

+17” of snow in 7 days with only one semi acceptable plow effort in St Paul puts thousands at risk. Please keep Safety at top of mind always. Many of St Paul’s latest initiatives do nothing but attribute “good” progress towards social issues. Fair. But do NOt discount safety of your tax base.

The delay plowing is caused by cars parked in the street. The city of St. Paul needs to ban all cars from on street parking after snowfall so roads can be plowed!

Even if there is going to be a second snow storm the next day, please plow the side streets after each snow. Having 4" one day on top of 4" the previous day means the side streets are not drivable unless you have four-wheel drive.

The delays in plowing make driving on our streets hazardous. I've had to push numerous cars out of the snow this winter even 24 hours after the snow stopped falling.

If I didn't have all wheel drive and a plowed alley ( which we pay for as a neighborhood) I wouldn't get out of here. St. Paul plans on discussing taking over the alley plowing "PLEASE DON'T " you can't get our roads plowed in a timely manor so don't screw up our alleys. You have already screwed up the recycling and garbage, leave us alone. PLOW THE ROADS TO THE CURB. That why we pay outlandish taxes.
