Not many people know the difference between APH and South African hedgehogs. A African Pygmy hedgehog can't hibernate like South African hedgehogs. They could actually DIE if they hibernate. Do your research people. I'm only here because I know I'm right. Just another fun fact - APH and South African hedgehogs doesn't even have the exact same diet
