Woodlawn Intersections

The intersection of Wendell, Rosa & Nott is difficult to cross

Schuyler street, priority street, yeah right. speeding, parking on both sides of road because residents to lazy to use driveways, excessive speeding, and City not treating street like a priority street.

1169 Phoenix Avenue

As a walker and biker, it is often scary to navigate the above mentioned intersections-anywhere on Erie Blvd., State Street near St. Luke’s Church, and the Union Street corridor in general heading up the hill from Nott Terrace. As stated, other larger cities (Philadelphia for one) have 20 mph speed limit in densely populated neighborhoods such as Old City, Center City, and Society Hill. This is common sense. Albany has walk/stop signs at crossings on S. Manning Blvd. Safer walking/biking has potential to become reality given the resources and investment of the community.

Erie Blvd. crossings are dangerous! If we want downtown to be "walkable" traffic calming strategies are needed.

Please look into Norwood ave used as speed strip. Also pedestrian crosswAlk at st Luke’s church state street traffic rather knock u down than stop and yield to person at crosswalk. Busy area church McDonald’s and bus stops.

McClellan Street, between Rugby Rd and Grand Blvd, near SHS, is a warm weather race track. Motorbikes & cars. Desperately needs traffic calming intervention.

The intersection at Erie Blvd. and Union is extremely dangerous. Turning traffic (from Union) does not always give pedestrians crossing Erie the right of way even with the pedestrian traffic signal engaged. Many vehicles trying to make the light don't wait to allow people to make it safely across the street before they try to turn, routinely cutting pedestrians off in the middle of Erie Blvd. and often almost hitting them.

Speeding appears to get little attention from the police. Sidewalks are trash in my neighborhood.
