Hi all, I live in Felton and it was devastating to hear that a young man had been killed while walking. I often walk along highway 9 for short distances since there are not other options in certain areas. I am interested to help in advocacy, fundraising, or other efforts to make sure that pedestrian and cyclist lanes are installed. Thank you for creating this petition! Gabi Salazar

To be a sustainable community we need a safe way to get more people out of their cars. For environmental reasons and to reduce traffic, I have my son walk to school as often as possible, and I know people who try to bike to work but feel endangered. Our community and our state should value people's efforts to do this and enact the change necessary to make it safe.

All of Highway is a danger zone for cyclists. Please start with this section and continue. We need safe passage through the valley for cyclist and pedestrians.
