The Norco Peninsula Residence are requesting a safe equestrian trail/crossing at River Road. We currently have 3 options, all of which are dangerous and we deserve a safe venue across a very busy road. 1) Bluff St. at River Road is a small, resident improved, trail that is often used as a parking lot for the Stonebridge Christian School. There is very little room for standing and waiting for the green light back into our neighborhood. This trail needs to be widened and imporved for safety. 2) River Road, between Trail and Corydon. this trail is full of critter holes that is unsafe for horses and riders. There are rails down on this trail, and riders must go down to Corydon to cross and then backtrack to get to the arena on Vine. Corydon and River Road is an extremely busy intersection, and unsafe for crossing. 3) Sundance and River Road. This is not a designated crossing, there is no light or stop sign, but is often used by residence as the "safest" way across the road.
