I have been spending my nights reading the painful stories you are leaving in the comments section. Each one reminds me why this work is so necessary for my sisters and all the young girls whose futures are at stake. I am currently reaching out to local clinics to organize a formal discussion on why these practices must end immediately.

Seeing this movement grow brings me such relief because I think of my own sisters and the pain we fight to end. The momentum proves that we are finally ready to call this practice what it truly is. This is not just a digital number but a sign that our struggle for basic safety is being seen.

Its sickening that anyone thinks its okay to treat humans like this. Laws need to change now.

absolutely horrific. no child should ever have to go through that kind of pain.
This is completely barbaric. How is this still happening in this day and age? Stop hurting little girls.
FGM needs to end everywhere. It is child abuse pure and simple.
In this day and age there is no excuse or justification for mutilation; children are our future and top priority, this senseless torture must be completely eradicated.
